This April marked a major milestone — I successfully defended my master’s thesis, “Where You Stand Depends on Where You Sit”: The Role of Agenda-Setting and Framing in Interpretive Theme Development.

Also in this final semester at the University of Idaho, I was incredibly honored to receive both the College of Natural Resources Outstanding M.S. Student Award and the 2024–2025 University-Wide Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) Outstanding Graduate Student Award.

I’m deeply grateful for all I’ve accomplished throughout this graduate journey — it’s been a truly life changing experience, and one I’ll carry with me as I move forward in my professional career, in Hawaii!

U of I Moscow is located on the homelands of the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce), Palus (Palouse) and Schitsu’umsh (Coeur d’Alene) tribes. We extend gratitude to the indigenous people that call this place home, since time immemorial. U of I recognizes that it is our academic responsibility to build relationships with the indigenous people to ensure integrity of tribal voices.
