What a week! I successfully defended my thesis, celebrated my first publication, and was honored as the Outstanding M.S. Student in Environmental Science!

Graduate school flew by in the blink of an eye, and I’m so grateful for the people who helped make this journey possible. A huge thank you to my major professor, Chris Zajchowski, Ph.D. for his guidance, support, and belief in my work. Thank you to the University of Idaho for providing such a meaningful academic home—and to my fiancé, who pulled me through every breakdown and celebrated every win along the way.

Feeling so proud, so thankful, and so ready for my next chapter!

U of I Moscow is located on the homelands of the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce), Palus (Palouse) and Schitsu’umsh (Coeur d’Alene) tribes. We extend gratitude to the indigenous people that call this place home, since time immemorial. U of I recognizes that it is our academic responsibility to build relationships with the indigenous people to ensure integrity of tribal voices.
